- On July 1, 2008, Columbia Pictures announced they would be filming a version of Sherlock Holmes as a comedy. The film is set to star Sacha Baron Cohen as Sherlock Holmes as Will Ferrell as Watson. As of late February 2009, it had not yet started filming and no start date had been announced.
