• Shepherd's Pie Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef or Lamb
  • Chopped carrots and other small vegetables
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2-3 potatoes
  • Gravy or other sauce and a stick of butter
    • Sauce suggestions: Worcestershire Sauce, Tabasco Sauce (spicy)

• Making Shepherd's Pie

  1. Peel and boil potatoes
  2. Saute the vegetables, starting with the onions
  3. Add meat and continue to heat and stir
  4. Drizzle gravy or sauce over mixture
  5. Heat in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes
  6. Cheese and beef broth can be added in variations
