Shark Week

Discovery Channel's Shark Week 2010 premieres on August 1, 2010 with a special program called Ultimate Air Jaws. Each year, the Discovery Channel presents a week full of television shows devoted to sharks. The 2010 Shark Week lineup includes several new premieres including Into The Shark Bite, Shark Attack Survival Guide, Day of the Shark, Shark Bite Beach and 'Shark Bites: Adventures in Shark Week featuring late night talk show hosts Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon.http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/shark-week/tv-shows.html

Shark Week began in July 1987, in 2010 it was in its 23rd year. For an entire week, the Discovery Channel devotes its station to airing shark documentaries and action packed shows about sharks.
