Brief Biography
Born in Hawaii and raised in Reno, Nevada, Shannyn Sossamon moved to Los Angeles at a young age to pursue a career in acting and dancing. It was not until 1999 when she was helping a friend DJ a party thrown by actress, Gwyneth Paltrow was she discovered by a casting director. Her first role in a major motion picture came in 2001 on A Knight's Tale she has since appeared in: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Wristcutters: A Love Story and is slated to appear in The Heavy directed by Marcus Heavy. -
