Shannon Price is the wife of former child star of Different Strokes, Gary Coleman. The couple were married in Nevada on August 28, 2007 after meeting on the set of one of Coleman's projects a movie called ‘’Church Ball’’ a comedy film.

It appears that Shannon Price was not married to Gary Coleman at the time of his death. On June 8, 2010, it was revealed that the ex-wife of Gary Coleman, Shannon Price has sold photos of Coleman after he passed away at the hospital in "ongoing desperate attempts" to make money from the former child star’s death. The photos will be released in Globe magazine this week (6/11/10) according to the magazine’s publicist. Shannon Price and her dad issued a statement to the press Thursday May 25, 2010 indicating that Gary Coleman had been hospitalized as asked for prayers from her husband’s fans. Coleman was hospitalized on 5/24/2010 for a head injury, which was the result of a fall. Updated 12:45 Pm EST May 28, 2010. According to a spokesman of Gary Coleman's, Coleman is on life support and is suffering from intracranial brain bleeding. This was caused by a fall and he is in the intensive care unit at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. The former child actor was "conscious and lucid" Thursday morning, but he "was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened," the spokesman said. The couple’s marital woes began in July of 2007 before they were married.
