Shakey's Pizza is a pizza restaurant chain established in Sacramento, California in 1954. The company achieved wide-spread success in the 1960s and 1970s, having hundreds of pizza parlors in the United States. However, the company has gone from its peak 325 stores in 1974 to just 63 American parlors. 55 of the remaining Shakey's are in California.
