Shabattai Kalmanovich was a Russian businessman who was murdered on November 2, 2009, in Russia. Kalmanovich was convicted in Israel in 1988 of being a spy for the KGB. The 60-year-old Kalmanovich was shot to death in his car in Moscow. Klamanovich's driver was wounded in the attack, which came from a passing car.
