Seven Mary Three

Alternative grunge band Seven Mary Three was popular in the the late 1990s with hits like "Cumbersome" and "Water's Edge."

Their name has caused confusion as some believe it has religious meanings and stood for the Trinity, the Virgin Mary and the seven deadly sins. The band disputes any religious references, and says they named themselves after hearing a radio call on the television show CHiPs.

Their most recent album was released on February 19, 2008 titled Day&nightdriving;. The first single off the album was "Last Kiss." (Not the same as the song by Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers or covered by Pearl Jam.)
