Serge Gainsbourg

Serge Gainsbourg was a French singer-songwriter, actor and director who was also known as the "dirty old man" of pop music. He wrote the soundtracks for nearly 40 films and directed four. His most famous song Je t'aime ... Moi non plus, included simulated sounds of a female orgasm. This song was censored in many countries and was considered pornographic. In 1978 he recorded Aux Armes et caeetera a reggae version of the French national anthem La Marseillaise for which he received death threats.
