Serendipity 3 is a restaurant located in Manhattan. The New York restaurant offers a wide variety of breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches and desserts, including the record-setting $25,000 Frrrozen Haute Chocolate. The restaurant was closed by the Health Department in November of 2007 after failing two straight inspections due to rodent and fly infestations.

The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate dessert is priced at $25,000 and is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive dessert. It consists of a slushy mix of cocoas and frozen milk with five grams of edible 24-karat gold and shavings from a La Madeline au Truffe. It is served with a gold spoon that the customer is free to keep.
