NHL Teams on Mahalo
Featured 2009 Moment
Theo Fleury continued his comeback with the Calgary Flames after registering an assist in a shootout loss to the Vancouver Canucks - TSN. Fleury has surprised so much today that George Johnson of the Calgary Herald said.
"Sure, the legs need some stretching out, but here he is, a 41-year-old geriatric away from the NHL game for six years making far more of an impact than a slew of prospects nearly two decades his junior. At some level, that has to burn.
If he continues to improve, to contribute, to make the ticket-buying public stand up and cheer, my word, what on earth are they going to do with him? Can they afford to, for argument’s sake, let him go somewhere else after he’s seduced this city all over again?" - Calgary Herald.
Current Calgary captain Jerome Iginla is 21 points ahead of Theo Fluery as the All-Time high scorer in the 30 year history of the Calgary Flames.
