The Shilla is a luxury hotel in Seoul that offers many amenities, including a garden for meditation and exercise. There are 465 guest rooms and suites in several different styles. In-room amenities include internet access, goose-down comforters and mini-bars. For on-site dining, try one of their six restaurants and bars, which offer a variety of cuisine choices from European to Chinese.

For a more moderate hotel, try the Hamilton in Itaewon. There are 155 rooms, including singles, doubles, deluxe and suites, all with cable tv with channels in English and Japanese. Guests staying there receive access to the swimming pool in the summer, free sauna entrance, 24-hour access to the internet room and 10% discount for breakfast.

For affordable lodging, try Youth Traveller's A. There are private and hostel rooms available, all at a cheap rate. The downtown location is a plus, and there is access to internet as well.
