Semisonic is a three-piece alternative rock group made up of musicians Dan Wilson, John Munson, and Jacob Slichter. The band's second full-length album, Feeling Strangely Fine, proved to be their biggest success, particularly the #1 single "Closing Time." The album also had hits with "Singing In My Sleep" and "Secret Smile," but the band never matched the success of the record with the follow up (All About Chemistry) and took a break in 2001.
In 2007, lead singer Wilson won a Grammy along with the Dixie Chicks for co-writing their hit song, "Not Ready to Make Nice."
