Selena Roberts is a reporter for Sports Illustrated magazine. In February 2009, she co-authored an article that revealed that Alex Rodriguez had tested positive for steroids in 2003.

In an interview with Peter Gammons, aired on ESPN, Rodriguez accused Ms. Roberts of using unprofessional tactics in her attempts to get the story. He said that she had been thrown out of his New York City apartment building, been escorted off the University of Miami campus by police, and had tried to break into his home in Miami.
