• Guide Note:

Sega Rally Revo is the most recent installment of the Sega Rally series of off-road racing video games. The game is available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and computers with Windows XP. In Europe, the game is still known just as Sega Rally. Producers put the sub-name "REVO" as a sign that the game is part of a revolution in off-road racing games. More than 30 licensed vehicles are available, and there's an online-playing system. The game received above-average reviews from video game critics.
  • Gameplay:

More than 30 vehicles are available in the game, a mix of 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. There are also rally vehicles available. The game feels like an arcade-style title, with vehicles incapable of going off road. Invisible barriers keep the vehicles in the field of play. The terrain is varied, from mud, to sand to snowy mountains. The artificial intelligence is very high, with the CPU vehicles acting very harsh during a race. The CPU vehicles drive on a "line" that doesn't change unless a human player tries to pass it.

Championship Mode is the main feature in the game. There are three tiers of play: Premier League, Modified League and Master League. Each tier has different vehicles and provide a different feel during a race. By passing each tier, new vehicles become unlocked and playable in future events. The similarities to each tier are that there are so few courses; therefore, many races will seem like repeat events.
