SeeqPod is a search engine that locates multimedia files which are hosted on public webspace. It displays results on a search results page which streams the files in an embedded media player applet. While it is most popular for finding MP3 files, SeeqPod is also designed to search for many other kinds of content.

Deferred Hosting
SeeqPod does not host any of the content directly. It finds content hosted in webspace that is not password-protected. It then streams files from the original host site. This practice is unpopular amongst music bloggers because their bandwidth gets leeched and SeeqPod does not directly credit the original poster.Puddlegum: Seeqpod - Bloggers Beware (December 21, 2006) -
