Security

Security is a general term which can refer to a number of different topics, including:

• Computer Security: information security with regard to computers
• Human Security: A post-Cold War concept regarding rights and guarantees for individuals
• Physical Security: Home and workplace safety, usually encountered in a crime prevention capacity
• National Security: Measures undertaken by the government to ensure public safety
• Financial Security: Freedom from debt or poverty; also, debt securities, such as banknotes, bonds and debentures, and equity securities, e.g. common stocks
• Security can also refer to Security Guard, a privately-hired professional who is paid to protect property, assets, or people, or more generally as a department responsible for the security of an institution's property and workers.
