Showtime's Secret Diary of a Call Girl is based on the blog "Belle de Jour." It is imported from Britain's ITV2 network, and was picked up for a third season on ITV.
The Showtime season premiere is Sunday, January 18, 2009.
On November 15, 2009, "Belle" revealed her identity as being Dr Brooke Magnanti, a cancer scientist. Read more here
