Sebastian Telfair is a guard in the NBA and plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Telfair was a much heralded player coming out of high school, but has yet to show much in the pros. Still, you can’t deny his potential and his ability to run a fastbreak might be something the Cavaliers eventually look into in the future. For the moment though, Sebastian Telfair was simply an add-on piece to make the Cavaliers’ acquisition of Antwan Jamison work out back in February. Sebastian Telfair received more playing time in the past with the Minnesota Timberwolves and in which he was able to average nearly ten points in twenty seven minutes of play.
Sebastian Telfair hasn’t always been at such depths, so one would expect he’ll have more opportunities in the future. Whether or not those opportunities will come with the Cleveland Cavaliers remain to be seen. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/sebastian_telfair/index.html http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3830
Sebastian Telfair 2010 Season
Sebastian Telfair will have to work very hard to find his way into the Cavaliers’ rotation. The Cavaliers already have a guard rotation of Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Delonte West and Daniel Gibson. Every one of those players will have a leg up on Sebastian Telfair in the Cavaliers’ rotation heading forward. You can see the uphill battle Telfair will have in Cleveland by looking at the playing time he’s received so far. Telfair has only appeared in four games for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010.
The future may hold a breakout season or it may not, but Sebastian Telfair remains a player with talent. How Telfair will utilize that talent in the future will be completely up to him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3830
