Women that suffer from extreme menstruation discomfort or irregularity, may also be prescribed Seasonale.Unlike most other types of birth control medications, Seasonale limits menstruation to four times a year versus the normal twelve times a year.

@colleenlindsay depending on your health issues, lo dose BC pills taken "seasonale" style where you only get 4 periods a year can be godsend

@JessicaGottlieb U can do that on any pill, just skip the sugar pills. But I'm on Seasonale generic & skip the sugars. Works 80% of the time
