Career
Sean Phillips has worked on several comic book series since starting his career in the 1980s. He contributed artwork to Hellblazer, Judge Dredd and Vector 13.In 1992, he and writer John Smith created Devlin Waugh, a character from the 2000 AD series.
Since 2005, he and writer Ed Brubaker have collaborated on Sleeper and Criminal, the latter of which won an Eisner Award for "Best New Series."Comic-Con: 2007 Eisner Awards Shine Spotlight on Comic Industry's Best
