Sean Murphy

  • Sean Murphy is an Attleboro, Massachusetts man arrested in January 2009 in connection with a June 2008 heist at the E.A. Dion Company's Attleboro plant. An estimated $2 million in gold rings, including 27 New York Giants Super Bowl rings, gems and other jewelry was stolen from the plant when Murphy and his accomplices allegedly disabled E.A. Dion's alarm system and entered the through a hole cut in the plant's roof. The New York Giants Super Bowl rings, which are valued at $250,000, were recovered Tuesday, January 27, 2009 after police executing a search warrent used keys seized in Murphy's home to open a safe deposit box.Sun Chronicle: Super Bowl rings found (January 28, 2009)
