Professional football safety Sean Jones plays in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns. Jones played in five of the first nine games during the 2008 season with the Browns. Accoring to Browns head coach Romeo Crennel, Jones was sidelined with a knee injury. Football Career
Jones began his career by playing college football with the Georgia Bulldogs. He served as a co-captain during his junior season while playing strong safety, free safety and rover. Jones recorded 250 tackles, seven interceptions and four blocked kicks, which broke a school record for blocked kicks. In 2004, Jones was selected 59th overall in the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns. He did not play that season, spending the year on the injured reserve list with a knee injury. Jones joined the Browns in 2005 for all 16 games, recording 23 tackles.
