Screen Actors Guild Strike

The Screen Actors Guild is setting a de facto deadline before the actors go on strike, which will be at the expiration of the current contract, June 30, 2008. Actors such as, George Clooney and Tom Hanks have been urging SAG president Alan Rosenberg to start negotiation talks. TV Squad reports that Rosenberg has engaged in behind the scene talks. A point of contention for SAG is the forced product placement without direct compensation.
