  • Scottie Upshall was drafted 6th overall in the first round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators. Upshall would start the 2002 season with the Predators before being sent back to his junior team after 8 games.

    In 2007, Scottie Upshall was involved in the trade that brought Peter Forsberg to the Nashville Predators courtesy of the Philadelphia Flyers he was moved along with Ryan Parent and draft picks. On March 4, 2009 on deadline day Upshall was moved from the Flyers to the Phoenix Coyotes for Daniel Carcillo.
