Scott Pioli

Former college football player and coach Scott Pioli serves as the general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League. He was reportedly hired by the Chiefs on January 13, 2009.Kansas City Star: Pioli to be Chiefs' new GM

Piolo previously served as the vice president of player personnel for the New England Patriots from 2002 to 2008.

Football Career

After playing college football at Central Connecticut State, Pioli worked as a graduate assistant for the Syracuse Orange football team in 1988 and 1989. Pioli got his first NFL job in 1992, serving as the pro personnel assistant for the Cleveland Browns. He worked as the director of player personnel first for the Baltimore Ravens in 1996, then with the New York Jets from 1997 to 2000.
