Memoir
In his 341-page book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception", about his tenure at the White House, McClellan alleges that senior officials, including President Bush, passed him false information and intentionally misled him concerning the Valerie Plame-CIA leak scandal. During a discussion of his book in November of 2008, McClellan recalled a specific conversation with Bush in which the president admitted to authorizing the leak of Plame's name to the press.YouTube: McClellan: George W.
