Scott Hairston is a Major League Baseball player. He is currently an outfielder for the San Diego Padres.

Scott Alexander Hairston was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 25, 1980. He attended Canyon Del Oro High School. He continued his education at Central Arizona Junior College. Pro Career
On May 7, 2004, Hairston made his MLB debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his first season, he appeared in 101 games and compiled a .248 batting average, with 13 home runs and 29 runs batted in. In 2007, he was traded to the San Diego Padres for Leo Rosales.MLB.com: Scott Hairston
