The Crime
After finding out that his wife, Caylinn Boie, was pregnant, Scott Boie reportedly tried to convince her to have an abortion, but she refused. Records from Boie's computer show that he had searched the web for "at-home abortion methods." Boie's friend, Ryan Bollinger, admitted to helping Scott Boie poison Caylinn Boie, who miscarried shortly after the poisoning. After a friend told her that her husband had tampered with her food, Caylinn Boie confronted Scott Boie, who admitted to slipping her the drugs during a telephone conversation.AKSuperstation.com: Boie Trial Continues on (May 1, 2009) KTUU.com: Airman allegedly poisoned wife to kill unborn child (April 30, 2009)
