Scott Bakula is an American actor. He was born on October 9, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri. Bakula attended the University of Kansas to study law until his junior year when he dropped out to pursue a career in acting. Bakula married Krista Neumann in 1981. They had a daughter together named Chelsy and a son they adopted named Cody. The couple divorced in 1995. In 1996, he became romantically linked to actress Chelsea Field. The couple has two children together named Wil and Owen.
Acting Career
In 1983, Bakula made his debut on Broadway in the production of Marilyn: An American Fable. Bakula later landed a role in the television sci-fi Quantum Leap as Dr. Sam Beckett. He won a Golden Globe Award for his performance on the show. The show was canceled in 1993. In 1998, Bakula played in the movie Major League: Back to the Minors. From there he went on to play in American Beauty, Star Trek: Enterprise, Blue Smoke and State of the Union. He is set to play in the upcoming film The Informant. The release date has not been set.
