Scott Baio is an American actor who grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
Life and Career
Baio got his start by starring as the title character in the all children's cast of Bugsy Malone alongside Jodie Foster (who played "Tallulah"). In 1977, Baio hit mainstream success when he was introduced on the TV show Happy Days as The Fonze's cousin, Chachi. Baio became known as a teenage heart-throb as a result of this role, and in 1982 he received a spin-off show of his own, called Joanie Loves Chachi (which also co-starred Erin Moran as "Joanie Cuningham").
In 1984, Baio was cast in another sitcom, Charles in Charge, which ran until 1990. On the show, Baio played "Charles," a full time baby-sitter who worked for the Pembroke and Powell families.
In 2007, Baio starred in his own reality show for VH1, Scott Baio is 45 and Single. In 2008, he returned with the second season, Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant.
