Types of Scoliosis
Idiopathic Scoliosis: The spinal curvature is due to an unknown cause.Congenital Scoliosis: This form of scoliosis is the result of a malformation of the spine which occurs during pregnancy.
Neuromuscular Scoliosis: Scoliosis is present as a result of the inability to support one's trunk due to a neuromuscular disease such as cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy.
