In a video clip posted online on July 21, 2009, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger discusses suggestions for paying down the state's large budget deficit while brandishing a two-foot long knife.
According to spokesman Aaron McLear, the knife was a gift Schwarzenegger had received the same time, and was simply an attempt to lighten the mood and highlight the need for "certain cuts."
