Scattergories is a category-based multi-player board game, where the object is to match categories using words that start with the same letter. There is a time limit, and you only score points if you have a unique answer--if your answer is the same as someone else in the group, neither of you gets credit for that answer.
-
Scattergories Strategy
- Since you only get credit for answers that are different from everyone else in the group, try to think beyond the obvious.
- Try to fill out every category in every round. You can't get points for a blank answer!
- Earn extra points by putting multi-word answers that all start with that round's letter, such as Mazda Miata for Vehicle, M.
- If the letter is T, S, P or C, don't forget words that start with Th, Sh, Ph or Ch.
