Scary Movie 4 is the fourth film in the Scary Movie comedy series which parodies horror films such as The Grudge and War of the Worlds.

Storyline
The film opens with a quick spoof of the Saw films, featuring Dr. Phil McGraw and Shaquille O'Neal. Keeping in line with the previous films in the series, Anna Faris plays Cindy, who is now working as a caretaker. The caretaker's house is haunted, similarly to The Grudge. Cindy meets Tom, played by Simon Rex, her next door neighbor, and they fall in love. Much like in War of the Worlds, giant tripod aliens invade Earth, except in this parody, the tripods look like iPods. The film goes on to parody The Village, Fahrenheit 9/11 and Tom Cruise jumping on the couch on The Oprah Winfrey Show. -
