Scared of Santa

Although Santa Claus is a character that usually brings joy to girls and boys, some children are scared of Santa. The Chicago Tribune's Scared of Santa pages have generated so much buzz that writers Nancy Watkins and Denise Joyce wrote a book about the phenomenon. Called Scared of Santa, the 288-page paperback book features stories and photos of children from the past hundred years who cried on Santa Claus' lap.
