Scandal (1950 Film)

Scandal was written and directed by Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa. It is a black and white film released on April 30,1950. Its Japanese title is Shubun.

Ichiro Aoye, a painter, meets the singer, Miyako Saijo, while both are on vacationing at the same place. A tabloid photographer catches them and makes money with the story. Ichiro sues the tabloid, but his lawyer, who is in need of money for the treatment of his daughter, acts as a double agent.
