Michael Tapp, son of Detective David Tapp, is investigating his father’s death. He is kidnapped by the famous serial killer Jigsaw, who his father had died investigating, and is placed with Jigsaw's massive labyrinth of traps, puzzles and riddles. Gameplay
The game will take you through multiple environments - hotels, sewers, factories - where you will mainly solve puzzles and need to escape Jigsaw’s traps. Many of the puzzles involve rescuing characters who you meet in the opening scenes, and who are all somehow connected to the death of Michael Tapp's father. The rescue puzzles are long and complex, each involving multiple stages. - Use the scalpel and trace the line immediately below your eye. If you do it steadily enough, you can get at the key inside.
- Leave the room and head over to the door. Take a look in the mirror. The symbol on your chest is your clue to get past the minigame near the door.
- At the minigame, rotate the sections to get the symbol to match the one on your chest. When you do so, the door will become unsealed.

- Step into the spotlight up the stairs to collect the flashlight. Use it to investigate the room (and the various torture devices inside).
- Head over to the door on the left side of the room. There's a combination lock: you can find it by looking at the unhinged door on the others side (upon which is written "You can see, but do you understand Cambell?). The combination is 573.
- Head through the door. Tap B quickly to avoid falling through the floor. Collect the pickaxe and use it to smash through the wall.
- Go through the hole and head down the alley to your left. Continue by crouching through the hole to reach the second alley, then crouch again to get into the room on your left.
- To pick the door, weave the camera through the turning locks and through the key hole at the end. If you hit any of the locks, you fail the minigame and must start over.
- Proceed through the hallway; when you reach the next door, press X and Y rapidly in order to avoid the swinging blade.
- Follow the hallway past the bright lights to the next door. As you move through the hallway, press A quickly to avoid falling.
- When you reach the outdoor courtyard, Jigsaw sends a violent man to attack you. Get ready!

- The brute will charge at you; position yourself in front of the open elevator shaft and dodge him just as he approaches you; he will fall down the shaft.
- Head through the double doors to the left of the shaft. The first room on your left past the doors has a filing cabinet; collect the coupler inside.
- Proceed down the hallway on your right. The circuit board has a minigame you must complete to get through the door. You must pass a circuit to the three nodes, two on top and one on the bottom left. Once you've done so, the door will open.
- Push the cart across the bridge and onto the floor panel to open the door to your right.
- Go down the hallway to your left and pick up the case file on the floor near the boxes. Continue through the next few doors.
- When you proceed through the door with the green-button console, Jigsaw addresses you again. He tells you your son is alive and that you must pass your "test," just as he passed his.
- Head down the dark hallway. When you reach the bridge, the walls begin closing in. Use RT and LT to balance on the beam and move quickly towards the end; tap X quickly to get underneath the closing pane and reach the elevator. Once you do that, the mission ends.

- You now play as a new character, a reporter named Michael Tapp.
- Talk to the men at the investigation, then head into the hallway.
- Follow the hallway downstairs and outside, where a hooded figure stabs you with a hypo.
- Tap A quickly to reach the other end of the room.
- Go through the hole in the wall on the other side of the cage. Proceed through the hole to the sealed door. The combination for the lock is given to you by the cipher on the door: SON or 732 is answer.
- Head down the hallway to your right. Tap Y quickly to avoid the shotgun past the door. Collect the crutch in the elevator and press the button to take the elevator up.
- Hit the three-button combo to take out the man that attacks you. Head up the stairs to hit the button that opens the sealed door.
- Go through the hole in the wall on the left past the door. Continue til you reach the room where Jigsaw has strapped a man to a chair. You must save the man in the chair in the allotted time. Hurry!
- Rotate the numbers til you get 0 3 8 7. When the timer hits this number, it will stop.

- Go to the door on your right. Peak through it to see the numbers 3054 at the end of the next hallway. Use this code to open the door.
- Crawl through the hole in the wall (the one laced with razor wire). Move through the hallway til you get to a living room with a TV.
- Listen to the answering machine message, then go into the bathroom.
- Drop down the ledge to the lower level. Proceed through the bolted door; time your buttons carefully to survive the crazed man's attacks.
- Continue down the hallway to your right. You'll pass a locked door; you'll need a key to open it. A little further ahead is another coded door; peer through the hole and you'll see 8120 written on the walls. Use this code to open the door.
- Just past this door is a second door, but this one has a booby trapped peephole. Press B quickly to dodge the gun's shot. Once you've done this, look again into the peephole to see the numbers 5430.
- A third door is just across the hall from the second. This door's code is 6438.
- Behind the second door is a briefcase with a minigame on it. Complete the minigame by arranging all the gears so that they all spin together. You collect the key from inside the briefcase is you succeed.
- Collect the weapon from the locker behind the first door, then go back to the locked door at the entrance to the hallway. Use the key to open it.
- Head down the hallway and be careful to balance on the beam.Use a nail to get through the door ahead.
- Drop down the ledge in the bedroom and head through the hole in the wall ahead of you to reach the ballroom. Head down the stairs; Jigsaw has a quick word with you before disappearing.
- Go to the bathroom and retrieve the nail in the second stall.

- Use the nail to get through the locked door in the ballroom. Head into the bathroom past the coded door; turn on the water heater then push the tap to see the code (942) written in the steamy mirror.
- Collect the puppet, then go back into the ballroom and through the unsealed doors on your right. To open the next door, you must hack the power console: the yellow power line must reach from one node to the other.
- Past the door is a floor puzzle; the clue to complete the puzzle is in the TV you see just as you enter. Avoid stepping on the cameras and the puzzle pieces.
- Cross into the next room; head up the stairs and collect the tape from the table.
- The three clocks on the wall gives you the clue as to the door combination: 826.
- Past the door you're attacked by an enemy. Kill him and take the key from his body; it unlocks the door to your left.
- Go up the stairs and out to the walkway above the room where you killed the enemy. Pick up the pipe and use it to smash through the damaged wall nearby. Squeeze through the hole, then crawl through the next hole ahead.
- The next floor puzzle goes: foot, pulse, nails. You must hit each tile in that order or you will be electrocuted. Follow the path laid out by this pattern, and if you get stuck, go backwards to see if there are any panels you can jump to move the pattern along.

- Pick up the cassette tape and go through the door on your left. Cross the balance beam and collect the axe. Double back across the beam and use the axe to cut the chain in the room. This will punch a hole in the floor below you.
- Drop down to the floor and through the hole. Proceed through the door ahead of you and down the hallway to your left.
- When you move past both unbolted doors, they suddenly bolt behind you and you have three minutes to arrange the meat carts to open the door ahead of you.
- The carts must each be placed immediately below the ceiling panels that activate the door.
- Proceed down the hallway. About 10 paces down an enemy attacks you; kill him and continue.
- When you enter the next large room, Jigsaw announces your next challenge: you must correctly guess the combination to the lock holding the man in the adjacent room. The numbers are : 80647.
- Head down the hallway that opens from the large room. Collect the cassette tape and key from the table at the end of the hallway. From here, run back through the previous rooms to the control panel you hacked to get inside.

- The second steel door is now available for hacking. Connect the two electricity nodes on the panel to open the door.
- You must turn off all the lights on the panel to save the police chief. Each button turns off a set of lights; press the buttons in the proper order to turn off all the lights in turn.
- Once you've successfully completed all five parts of the minigame, the police chief will be released. After a short cutscene, the level ends.
- The next level begins with you exiting the elevator. In front of you is a vest which you need to proceed; it has a small flashlight and will kill you if you try to leave an area without completing an objective.
- You must now save a girl trapped in a cell suspended over electrocuted water. Move around the outside of the room along the right. After a quick chat with Jigsaw, continue through the door and then through the door on your left.
- When you're faced with two TVs, push each button to open the steel door in front of you. Move along the hallway to your right (the way ahead is blocked by the water).
- The first door on your right is booby-trapped; react quickly to avoid being shot. Squeeze through the hole in the wall and out the other side to proceed up the stairs.
- At the top of the stairs, drop down to the floor below. Push the power panel to deactivate the electricity and collect the gear from the dryer. Go back through the door in the hallway and place the gear in the gearbox (just in front of the hole you squeezed through earlier).
- You can now collect the key, but to do so you need to reach through the scalding steam. Once you have the key, creep through the narrow alley, quickly avoiding the steam jets as you go.
- You can now unlock the door at the top of the stairs. Continue forward until you get to another electricity panel. Hack the panel to open the steel door next to it.
- The door leads to an alley filled with boxes. After watching a man fall from a nearby fire escape, walk up the ramp leading to the dumpster and use it to get to the ladder. Climb up the ladder onto the fire escape and proceed through the door at the top.

- Head through the door off the fire escape. Go into the bedroom and crawl through the hole in the wall.
- Proceed through the next set of doors. When you approach the door at the hall it closes and a timer starts. You must correctly guess which jewel box has the key to the door.
- If you look at the wall by the boxes, you'll see marks around the number 7; that means the key is in Box 7. Select it, grab the key and head through the door.
- The next large room has the water pump, but you must move it onto the elevator in order to bring it down. Head up the stairs to your left and edge along the right side of the room; be careful to stay out of sight of the man and his molotov cocktails in the center.
- Through the doors on the far side of the room is your next challenge: you must collect the wheel that can raise the obstacle keeping your from proceeding down through the floor, but to do so you must pass over some electrocuted floor panels.
- The panels must be crossed in the right order. The blinking TVs at the room's entrance near the water valve show you what the order is. Cross the panels in that order to avoid getting electrocuted.
- Cross the right-side panels to reach another "turn off the lights" minigame. Do the same on the left side to open the door. Collect the wheel, turn it in the valve and jump down to the floor below.
- Push the pool pump through the doors. You need to get through the next door, but its bolted from behind. Crawl through the hole in the wall to the right of the door, then through the next hole in the bedroom. This will take you to another set of floor panels.
- Cross the panels in the right order: hand, knife, skull, snake. Collect the nail from the box at the other end and unbolt the door.
- Push the pool pump to the next door. Before you proceed, head down the hallway (avoid the falling ceiling) and after avoiding the gun in the peephole open the door on your right.

- Use the nail to open the door blocking the pump. Push the pump through the door, then through the hole in the wall on your left, then across the beam in the chamber where the woman is being held.
- Keep pushing the pump til you reach the end of its track. Once there, the steel door to your right will open. Head through it and up the ladder.
- In the next room, an enemy with a spiked head will attack. Position yourself next to the weakened wall section at the far end of the hall; jump out of the way as the enemy attacks you, and he will burst through the wall, allowing you to proceed.
- Cross the two long beams in the next room. When you reach the audio tape, pick it up and jump down the hole in the room on your left.
- You have now reached the other side of the steel door blocking the water pump. Hack the panel next to it to force it open.
- Push the pump through the door. The next door blocking you is a combination lock; the combo is 815.
- Push the pump across the boards and to the elevator. Bring the elevator down and push the pump into its slot. Once you do that, the water in the room will be pumped away.
- Your next task is to turn off the power. Jigsaw opens a door on the far side of the room. Go through the door and crawl through the hole next to the stairs.
- Climb all the way up the ladder in the elevator shaft. Follow the hallway to a door; open the door and listen in on the police chief and the detective's conversation (they're talking about you!)

- Head back up the stairs and through the door on your right into the ballroom. Flip the light switch to your right and fight off the enemy that attacks from behind.
- The combo lock for the door out of the ballroom is 938; you can figure it out by turning off the lights and getting the marks on the walls and chairs to line up.
- Another set of floor panels is ahead. Cross the panels in the correct order (cassette tape, pills, camera, pills), then through the door on your left.
- Continue through the hallways til you reach a room filled with TVs. Match the symbols on each TV with its pair; once you do so, the door ahead will open.
- Proceed down the hallway and drop through the hole in the floor. The police chief attacks; duck from the pillar on the right to the pillar on the left, followed by the pillar in the front, then duck into the room on your left.
- By now the police chief has withdrawn. Solve the lights minigame to open the door ahead and proceed through it and down the hallway.
- Take the elevator down. Head down the hallway to the ladder. Go up the ladder to where the girl is trapped.
- You must align the water pipes to release the water from the girl's cage. You can do this by timing the rotation of the pipe sections, so that each one will fit into its slot at the same time. Do this and the water will be released.

- Go back down the ladder and out of the pool area to the alley. Head into the open door to enter the loading area, and to start the new level.
- Your new objective is to exit the loading area. Push the tow barricades so that they form a path from the boxes (where the nail is) to the doorway. Collect the nail and use it to open the door.
- Proceed forward. Ahead you'll see another electric panel. Hack the panel to enter the next room and to start the next puzzle.
- You have to save Joseph from an acid bath. To do so you must lower the elevator, but first you must find the lever and the control device.
- Exit the area via the door on the far right. Follow the hallway til you reach another electric panel. Hack the panel and proceed into the next room.
- You must free a trapped prisoner by lowering some acid to break his chain. For this you need a valve. Head through the door on the right; this leads to a room full of containers.
- Dodge the falling containers and go through the door at the far end (don't try the combo locked door, it's electric). In the next hallway is a door that needs a nail; go past it into the next door down.
- Pick up the coupler in the second toilet. Dodge the shotgun in the next door and pick up the nail from the tool cabinet. Head back to the hallway and use the nail to open the door (but only after you hack the circuit board).
- Open the door and learn the combo for the door in the cargo container area (620). Head back outside, flip the power switch to deactivate the electricity and open the combo door.
- Head up the stairs to the control room. Use the magnet crane to pick up the container marked with an X and drop it on the container next to it. Once you do this, an enemy attacks.
- Kill the enemy and flick the power switch nearby to open all the doors behind you. Head back down into the container area.

- Take the elevator up. Jump the trip wire and head through door that leads right from from the trip wire.
- To cross the TVs, the pattern is hand, knife, skull and snake. Dodge the shotgun in the next door and collect the puzzle piece.
- Back on the main path; when you approach the ledge, the walkway is lowered. Cross it and run down the stairs on your right.
- Henry the police chief reappears and starts shooting at you. Stay in cover til he reloads and dash from one pillar to the next until you reach the control panels on the far side of the room.
- Complete the lights minigame to open the door below. Run through it and towards the door on the far side.
- Dodge the shotgun at the door. Use the control panel to drop a box on Henry. He withdraws afterwards.
- Collect the valve and run down through the open steel door and down the stairs. Use the valve to release the acid and free Anton. He gives you a key. Head back up to the room's entrance and through a steel door on your left (you catch a glimpse of a man trapped in an acid bath, the one you must save).
- Head up the stairs. Hack the panel to enter the room beyond. Push the button and head over to the door on the far side. Use the key you got from Anton to unlock it.
- Hack the panel for the next door. You enter a large room with a rotating fan strapped with explosives. Push the engines to each X panel to open the door.
- The next room is filled with poisonous gas which eventually kills you if you linger in it too long with taking a health hypo. Run along the edge and jump down through the gap in the floor. Then run across to the stair well and head up the stairs.
- At the top of the stairs cross the balance beam to the center platform.

- Head through the door in front of you. On a nearby stand is a nail; use it to unlock the nearby locked door and escape from the gas.
- Head through the door in the fan-room. Follow the hallway to an electric panel. Hack the panel to unlock the steel door nearby.
- In the next room, drop down to the floor below. Head through the door on your right and kill the enemy that attacks you. Take the nail off his body and head back into the main room.
- Approach a steel door near a floodlight and it opens, allowing you to proceed. Head to the back of the next room and use the nail to unlock the door.
- The next room is covered in bloody stains. Go into the far left corner and you'll see the numbers on the walls and center pillar: 452.
- Go back into the earlier room and open the combo door. The next area is filled with toxic chemicals; move slowly to avoid them and head for the door on the upper right of the area.
- Proceed forward through the file-cabinet hallway. In the loading room, open the garage and you're attacked by a charger. Lure him into the second open garage and close its door to trap him inside. The steel door opens, allowing you to proceed.
- Climb up the ladder on the container and cross the balance beam. Drop to the ground behind the next container, near the toxic waste barrels.
- Crawl through the vents into the next room. Your new objective here is to keep the conveyor belt clear of obstacles as an explosive-filled box moves along. Go into the control room and hit the button to start the conveyor belt.
- Run into the next area; pull the two carts out of the belt's way.
- In the next area, go up and then down the stairs to move the first cart. Then, cross back across the stairs and run further down the track to move the second cart. You have to move the cart that's parallel to the track in order to move the third cart out of the way.
- In the third area, you must run around the boxes and up the stairs, then back down them, to reach the cart. Then, run back up the stairs to the other side and through the steel door.

- Hack the electric panel. Pick up the lever from the explosive box and take the elevator down.
- You must free Joseph from the machine in which he is imprisoned. To do this, solve the light puzzle: turn each node until all the lights are illuminated.
- Complete all five of the light puzzles to free Joseph. Once you do this, the level ends.
- The next level begins with you on your way back to free your friend stuck in the acid bath. You enter a room with a broken steam pipe on the floor, and Jigsaw reveals another possible victim that you must rescue.
- Collect the nail from the cabinet by the stairs. Use it to unlock the door near the steel doors, and take out the enemy that attacks as soon as you enter.
- Collect the winch off the table. Head up the stairs back in the main room and use the winch to raise the platform covering the floor panel. Climb down the ladder to reach the lower level.
- Follow the hallway (look out for the tripwire by the falling water). When you reach a door with an electric panel, hack the panel to get through the door (there's also a locked door with a nail nearby; the door leads to a puzzle piece).

- Past the steel door is a large room with two movable carts. Shift one cart to get at the power generator; shift the other one to allow the door to open.
- Past the door, you must move all four carts out of position to allow you to proceed through the door on the far right side. Be careful of your shotgun suit, however; it will kill you if you let the red lights flash for too long.
- In the next room, go to the right to pull on the valve that lowers the fire. Then move past the fire, into the generator room. Use the nail from the body on the floor to get past the room on your right, then hack the power console to turn on the fan nearby.
- Now that the power is on, you can finally save your trapped friend. Head through the door to your left and up the ladder.
- In the room above, you must complete the rotate-light-node minigame (similar to the one you used to free Joseph) to open the door ahead and escape the crushing walls.
- In the next room, turn the valve to allow Sarah to escape. Walk along the upper walkways to the far side to turn the next valve; then, climb down the ladder and turn the third valve nearby.

- Climb down the next ladder to reach the fourth valve. To turn it, you must complete the minigame nearby: turn the sections to form a complete blue line from one node to the other.
- Climb back up the ladder. Turn the fifth and final valve. After the cutscene, proceed through the now-open steel door.
- Hack the electric panel to open the next steel door. In the next area, proceed to the point at which your path is blocked by electrified water. Squeeze through a nearby gap in the boxes and turn off the generator.
- Climb up the ladder. Walk along the walkway til you can discern the red marks below. Line up the marks to learn what symbol you need to open the door below.
- Once you have the door open, proceed through it. Crawl through the hole in the wall to the next area.
- Run into the gas-filled room to the left of the crawl-hole. Pick up the coupler sitting nearby and use it to hack the power console. This will turn on the fan, removing the gas.
- Drop down to the floor below. The cylinder nearby needs two chemicals to make the explosive you need to blow open the door. Proceed up the stairs nearby.
- In the next room, grab the nail from the cabinet and use it to open the locked chain-link door.

- Complete the lights minigame to open the floor grating. Jump down to the lower level and defeat the enemy that attacks you.
- The two ingredients for your bomb are in two of the nearby cabinets. Collect them and proceed through the bolted door back to the cylinders.
- Use the four rotating dials to guide the contents of the chemicals into the lower cylinder. When the cylinder is full, your bomb will be ready.
- Proceed back into the container room and place your bomb on the large steel door. Run for cover while the bomb counts down.
- After the bomb goes off, head through the blasted door. Open the next door leading to the fenced-in area and battle the charger that Jigsaw sends against you. Lure the charger to attack you while you're standing in front of the electric wall panels.
- After the charger is dead, proceed through the open steel doors and up the stairs. When you reach the table at the top of the stairs, another enemy attacks: Zeke, the man whose hands had been caught in razors before.
- Escape Zeke by throwing obstacles in his path (two trash cans and a dumpster) and by successfully jumping across the hole in the floor.
- Head through the steel door on your right, and through the next hallways til you reach a large room with a freight elevator. Take the elevator up.
- Exit the elevator and your next challenge starts: you must save Carla from being torn in half by the elevator by matching the number on the panel nearby. You must match the numbers using as few swaps as possible; more than three swaps and the elevator drops.

- Exit the elevator and follow the walkway to your left to the other side of the room. After Carla turns on the power, use the crane to drag the two boxes with white crosses to the bottom of the yellow box, forming a bridge you can use to cross to the other side.
- Hack the power panel to open the door for Carla. She runs through it, leaving you behind. Head back to the crane control and move the boxes below so that you can reach the door. Climb down the ladder through the door behind you and head through the door after Carla.
- Proceed through the hallways; the door ahead is boobytrapped, so watch out. Climb down the ladder and hack the power panel for the steel door at the bottom.
- Crawl through the hole to the left of the door. Follow the sewer path til you reach two doors, one locked and one open. Head through the open one and kill the enemy that attacks you at the bottom of the stars. Once he's dead, collect the nail from the nearby cabinet and use it to open the locked door.
- Climb up the ladder out of the sewers. At the top is a locked door; open it with the nail from the nearby cupboard. Inside, collect the coupler from the table and use it to hack the power panel.

- After hacking the power panel, head down the now-open hallway. When you reach the next area, a man tied to a chain attacks you.
- To defeat him, you must complete the minigame on the wall. Get the numbers into ascending order to lock the main back in his elevator.
- Head past the elevator and down the hallway to the ladder. The door at the bottom of the ladder is booby-trapped, so watch out.
- In this next area, find the space to squeeze through steam pipes (it's just to the right of the metal door). You can solve the minigame inside by finding the colored numbers in the room before it: a 27, a red 5, a green 7 and a grey 8.
- After completing the minigame, squeeze through the next section and switch off the fuse box.
- Go back to the large room you were in before. Head up the stairs and back through the hallways, past the hallway where you battled the chained enemy, to the steel door that was closed but now should be open.
- Head through door and up the ladder in the next room. Use the button to open the steel door ahead of you; do the same for the next door after you chat with Jigsaw.
- When you enter the next hallway, the slicer attacks again. Avoid his attacks and start running down the hallway he opens up.
- Keep running til you reach the doorway with a large wardrobe next to it. When the slicer approaches, pull the wardrobe over to block his path.
- Keep running into the next room. Use the lever to move the crusher into position; as soon as you do, the slicer appears and is crushed.
- Head down the hallway to the right of the crusher. Hack the power panel to enter the next area.

- In the next area, you see Joseph and Henry talking about killing you. Henry leaves his gun with Joseph, who starts shooting at you as soon as he sees you.
- Hack the power panel nearby to open the steel door. Crawl through hole to your left to proceed into the next area.
- Go past the missing furnace key to the hallways on your right. You'll see some colored numbers: these are the numbers you need for the combo door at the end of the hall. They are: green 4, red 8 and blue 5.
- Head up the ladder and through the door on the left at the top. Once there, you're attacked by a charger covered in steel spikes. Get the charger to charge while you're standing in front of the brown wooden boxes, so that he sticks in place; then, hit him with your melee weapon (if you don't have one, there's a baseball bat in the corner).
- Once the charger is dead, head through the door he entered from and then down the ladder. You have to cross some electric TV screens: the pattern is skull, scalpel, knife, hand.
- Down the hallway to your right is a valve; turn it to open the grating below. Drop down to the lower level and proceed through the bolted door.
- Push the cart down the track; once it's in position, the steel door next to it will open. Go through it and up the ladder.
- You're faced with a bunch of TV screens. You need to find the matches for all the images on the screens; once you do, you can collect the key from the box nearby and the steel door will open, allowing you to proceed.

- After watching Henry kill Carla, head right down the hallway. Open the door at the far end and head down the ladder.
- Continue down the hallway to the next steel hallway. Your new goal: save Solomon, tied to a machine suspended over open gas flames. You need to push him through a series of rooms and clear the way before the fires roast him.
- Push him out of the first room. The second room has several carts you need to clear out of the way; move quickly before Solomon is fried by the fires below him (though be aware that the fires around Solomon will harm you if you try to move him).
- In the third room, you have to work out the TV matching puzzle to open the door. Be sure to move Solomon out of the of the fires below him.
- Get Solomon out of the third room to save him. After a cutscene, the level ends.
- At the beginning of the next level: follow Solomon and watch him get shoved into a pit full of needles. Then, reverse and crawl through the hole in the wall.
- Head down the ladder to the lower level, and through the door nearby to the subway tunnel.
- After a quick chat with Sarah, you face Joseph once again. Stay behind cover until he has to reload, then dash to the end of the subway and up the stairs. Run to the molotov cocktail to toss it at Joseph and force him up the stairs.

- Head through the double doors next to the stairs (look out for the booby trap!).
- The next challenge is a TV wall. Find all the matches to get the key, then proceed through the now-open doors on your right.
- Follow the hallway to a large room, then head up the stairs to the locked door at the top. Open the door using a nail, then head up the ladder in the next room to the upper level.
- Hack the power panel to open the steel door. In the next room is another enemy tied by a chain to a post; he will charge you then be pulled back to the post via the chain.
- Wait for him to be recoiled, then run left then right to rotate the valves and clear your path. Once both valves have been turned, the way forward will be open.
- Proceed down the elevator shaft and through the steel doors. Joseph attacks again once you approach the fenced area near the tunnel.
- Using the pillars for cover, move left past the pillars and the bathroom to the hallway on the far side. Proceed down the hallway and through the doors.
- The next set of doors can only be opened if you push a nearby cart in front of them and complete a lights minigame. However, there are several sensors that will set off your shotgun suit if you linger too long near them.
- The sensor near the cart can be deactivated by ordering the numbers below it from smallest to biggest. Do that and move the cart out of the room.
- The next room has a sensor like the first. Deactivate it before moving the cart through the room and too the door.
- Once the cart is at the door, backtrack slightly to complete the minigame. Once you've done that, the door will open and you can proceed into the alley.

- To defeat the charger covered in spikes: lure him to attack you while you stand in front of a wooden crate (the one just to the left of the crane controls is best). Then, when he's stuck in place, maneuver the crane above him and drop the crate to crush him.
- Collect the key from the charger's corpse to unlock the door out of the container room. Use a nail to open the door on your left (there's a puzzle piece in there) and hack the power panel to open the steel door to proceed.
- To get through the fan, stay along the edges; be very careful to avoid the red lights, as they will kill you instantly.
- Keep moving along the fan's edge until you reach the gap in the fence, then jump off the fan and proceed out the door on your right (careful, it's booby trapped).
- Proceed through the next room and the hallway. Continue through the hallways til you reach a new building (it looks a bit like the hotel from earlier). The words "Seek Sanctuary" will be written in huge letters.
- In the side room you'll find another explosives machine. Fill the appropriate cylinder with the appropriate liquid to create a new chemical bomb.

- After completing your bomb, place it on the nearby steel door to blow it open. Proceed through the door into the burned-out kitchen. When you enter the larger room, Joseph will reappear and begin attacking you.
- Wait for Joseph to reload, then run to the left, up the stairs and out into the large foyer. Stay behind the pillars near the stairs. Then head up the stairs and onto the walkway on your right.
- Each time you approach Joseph, he will withdraw. Be patient, wait for him to reload, then inch closer and closer to him.
- Eventually he takes cover inside a small room off the foyer. Once you approach the room, Michael starts to charge. Tap B quickly to tackle Joseph. While on the ground, tap A and then RT to kill Joseph.
- Take the nail off Joseph's body and use it to open the door Jigsaw escapes through. Follow the staircase to the hallway at the bottom.
- Balance on the beam and cross it to the cell at the far end.
- As Campbell, you can choose: either escape or attack Jigsaw. If you escape, Michael dies; if you attack Jigsaw, Campbell dies but Michael lives.
