A 25 year old man from Syria allegedly decapitated his 15 month old nephew in a supermarket in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 2, 2008. The impetus for the crime was reportedly an argument the man had with his sister, who was watching as he murdered her child. The man was taken into custody, and is expected to face the death penalty. Under Saudi law, the victim's family has the right to pardon a killer who's sentenced to death.
