  • Satish Kalpoe is a Surinamese man who was arrested three times in connection with the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005. His brother, Deepak Kalpoe, and Joran van der Sloot, have also been arrested multiple times in relation to the case. None of the three men has ever been charged with any crime. Holloway has never been found.

    Born in Suriname, Satish Kalpoe lived on the island of Aruba with his brother, Deepak at the time of Natalee Holloway's disappearance. On May 30, 2005, Holloway failed to show up for her return flight to the United States after a week-long chaperoned high school graduation celebration in Aruba.
  • Case Details

    Kalpoe admitted being a passenger along with Holloway and van der Sloot in a car driven by his brother, Deepak, on the night of May 30, 2005. After his arrest, Kalpoe claimed that the three had dropped Holloway off at her Holiday Inn hotel and saw her approach a security guard. In 2007, Satish Kalpoe was rearrested, but again released.
