Satellite Party is an alternative rock band fronted by singer Perry Farrell. The other two members are Carl Restivo and Etty Lau Farrell. Farrell also led the bands Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros. They gave their debut performance at Key Club in Los Angeles, on July 18, 2005.
The band's debut album was released on May 29, 2007. Various artists contributed to the record, like Fergie, John Frusciante, Flea (Singer) Hybrid and Peter Hook. Their debut single "Wish Upon a Dogstar" was also released in 2007. It made it to the number 26 spot on the modern rock charts and the number 18 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
