Sassy Water

Sassy Water is a refreshing summer drink, essentially a sugarless lemonade made with lemon, ginger, cucumber and mint. It was developed as part of Prevention.com's "Flat Belly Diet", but has a wider application as a summer cooler.

Using Sassy Water

Prevention.com suggests that you kick off your "Flat Belly Diet" with a full recipe of Sassy Water, consisting of eight cups, every day for four days. The ginger is to calm your gastrointestinal tract; the water is part of the eight glasses of water the diet recommends you consume every day; and the flavor is said to be tastier than plain water.Prevention.com: Sassy Water: A Flat Belly Diet Staple (2007)
