Sass & Bide is an Australian fashion label known for its unique denim designs. Founded by Sarah-Jane Clarke (Sass) and Heidi Middleton (Bide) the line has gained popularity around the globe.

They came to London in 2002 and had their first LFW show. By 2004 they were showing in New York and they have been growing their lientel in all three areas. They carry party wear that has been seen on Miley Cyrus, Hillary Duff, Cate Blanchett and Nicole Richie. The clothing line is carried at Bloomingdale, Saks fifth Avenue, Kima Zabete, Cry Wolf and Dernier Cri.
Career Overview
Hip hugging low jeans with stretch was the first release from the label. As apparel emerged from the line, color, varying fabric and patterns also made a presence. Short dresses and loose fitting tops with skinny jeans are just a few pieces of this high end collection.
These two designers never attended the most well known designing colleges. They had a background in accounting and as an advertising Art Director. Even with this difference in their history, they decided to go into business together and made the choice.
The pair have found stockists in the UK and the USA, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Sass and Bide have been in Vogue magazines from around the world. The London Fashion Week catwalk show took place on February 19, 2010.
