Sasha Alexander

Sasha Alexander, born Suzana Drobnjakovic, is an American actress. She began acting in her elementary school days and studied in London with Cicely Berry and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In addition to being an actress, Alexander is also a screen writer and producer and has been involved in a number of movies and television shows in her career. In July 2010, Sasha Alexander began a role on the TNT detective drama series Rizzoli and Isles. Alexander plays the role of Doctor Maura Isles, a main character in the series serving as the Boston Medical Examiner. As Dr. Isles, she costars with Angie Harmon who plays the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli.
