During the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant, Sarah Palin finished second. Video of Palin participating in the swimsuit competition of the 1984 pageant was made available online on September 25, 2008, posted to YouTube by Alaska resident Richard Millay. In the video, Palin wears a red one-piece swimsuit as an announcer discusses her qualifications for the competition.
