A spokesperson for vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin had said that trips to Germany, Kuwait and Ireland were locations Palin had visited, concerning her foreign travel experience. Multiple sources later reported that her "trip" to Ireland was nothing more than a refueling stop on her way to Germany and Kuwait.
