Vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin has come under fire for her alleged lack of knowledge and experience concerning foreign policy and the Iraq War. In an interview with Time magazine on August 14, 2008, Palin spoke of the Iraq War with an apparent lack of understanding about the United States current foreign policy stance. Palin's comments on Iraq are mostly centered around energy and oil.
