In the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant, Republican Vice Presidential candidate and then-contestant Sarah Palin played the flute and was a runner up who won Miss Congeniality. Richard Millay, a Juneau, Alaska, resident posted a video on YouTube with Sarah Heath (as she as known then) in the swimsuit competition, and promised that he will post a video of her flute-playing talent competition at some point in the future. He posted the video of Palin playing the flute in the talent competition on September 30, 2008.
