Screenshots from Alaska Governor and Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin's personal [[Yahoo!]] email account were published online by an alleged hacker on September 17, 2008. The material appeared on the anonymous posting site WikiLeaks, the gossip blog Gawker and elsewhere. The Washington Post and an online blog at Mother Jones both published her Yahoo email address the previous week.
