Canadian actress Sarah Chalke currently plays Dr. Elliot Reid on the NBC television show Scrubs. Concurrently she appears in a multi-episode arc for the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. In both programs she plays a doctor and the love interest of the lead characters.
Chalke has also starred in the television movie Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, the series The Lonely Island, and the film Ernest Goes to School.

Chalke debuted on American television as Becky Conner on the popular sitcom Roseanne. She replaced the original actress Lecy Gorenson when Gorenson left to attend college. Gorensen later returned to the series. Jokes in the script would often references Becky "changes" went through during her tenure on the show. -
